Advances in imaging, catheter-based interventions, congenital heart disease surgery, and clinical management of (CHD) have yielded a dramatic change age distribution the CHD population. This implores clinicians researchers to gain better understanding aging, as this will be cornerstone how we plan manage rapidly evolving group patients. In article, first review demographic changes population then describe systemic complications observed young patients with CHD, following which discuss general concepts aging that may transferable Finally, inflammation its potential impact on aging.
